We are writing today to keep everyone updated on the Covid status within our building and the current guidelines that remain in place at Spring Oak.
We have had an employee test positive this week for Covid. She was last in the facility on August 5, 2021. She tested outside the facility after she had a family member test positive. As per current guidelines, Spring Oak conducted facility wide testing of ALL residents and staff regardless of vaccination status. We are pleased to convey that ALL testing has resulted in negative findings.
Spring Oak remains vigilant in fighting this virus and keeping it out of the facility. We continue to test unvaccinated staff weekly following the current directives; and anyone, staff or resident alike, who is in any way under suspicion of possibly being exposed.
Our current vaccination rates are as follows: Residents 92.42% with one additional in process, Staff 53.13% with 2 additional in process. We are currently working with the Camden County Board of Health to secure a date where they are willing to come in and vaccinate any additional staff looking to do so.
Once again, just a reminder, the Governor’s lifting of the mask mandate does not apply to Healthcare Facilities, Nursing Homes, Assisted Livings, or State agencies. ALL Residents, staff, and visitors are still required to wear masks within the facility regardless of vaccination status.
Please continue to schedule your visits with the receptionist so we can maintain a count of visitors in the building at any one time. Keep in mind too as the weather is improving, you may also take advantage of outdoor visits in the courtyard or on the benches out front. You will be required to continue checking your temperature and completing an attestation when signing in.
As always, feel free to reach out to myself or Sherry directly should you have any questions or require our assistance at this time.
